📋 About This Mod

This little mod will disable the Bethesda.net Mod Manager Menu option from the System menu, applying the Skyrim.ini settings for you. ESL flagged. Compatible with literally everything.

If my little tweak helped you, please endorse.

I don't use Bethesda.net mods so I don't want this option on my System page. I also don't want to remember all the Skyrim.ini tweaks.

This is just a blank .esp to let Skyrim apply the included ini settings.

If you don't want to use mod, edit your own Skyrim.ini:

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This tiny UI mod removes the Bethesda.net Mod Manager option from the System menu in Skyrim Special Edition. It's ESL-flagged for zero load order impact and claims compatibility with everything. Ideal for players who never use the built-in mod browser and want a cleaner menu.

✨ Key Features

Disables the Bethesda.net Mod Manager menu option from the System menu.
ESL flagged, so it won't count against your load order limit.
Compatible with literally everything, according to the author.
Last updated October 2021, still functional for most setups.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Huge community trust with 2,932 endorsements and 1.4 million downloads.
  • ESL flag means zero load order impact—perfect for mod lists already at the limit.
  • One less menu option to accidentally click, especially if you never use Bethesda.net.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2021—might not be tested with the latest game patches, though it's so simple it likely still works.
  • Does nothing else—if you want to actually manage mods, this isn't the tool.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim SE players who never touch the Bethesda.net mod browser and want a cleaner System menu. Also great for mod authors who want to prevent accidental clicks during testing. Skip if you actually use Bethesda.net mods or want any other UI changes.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Just drop the ESP into your Data folder and enable it in your mod manager—no FOMOD or patches needed.
  • Since it's ESL-flagged, you can place it anywhere in your load order, but putting it near the top is fine.
  • If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, deploy and enable it like any other mod; it won't conflict with anything.
