AMB AVL - PATCHES

Umgak's wonderful aMidianBorn Armor Variants Lite integrates the many variant textures created by CaBal120 for their aMidianBorn series of retextures. The original mod page already covers patches for a number of mods to which I will be adding here. Please note that I create patches for mods I use; I do not take requests. If you don't like something I did, please feel free to modify it however you like. All my files can be shared freely.

Hold on, didn't you already upload patches for AMB AVL?

I actually created a set of files breaking up Umgak's AMB AVL into separate modules. At the time, that was a great exercise for me, but I have learned a lot since then and feel more comfortable tackling the full mod. Hence, I decided to retire my earlier edits and patch Umgak's original implementation instead.

Book Covers Skyrim

The patch for Book Covers Skyrim adds proper BCS meshes and textures to the two Atronach Forge recipes added by AMB AVL.

Modular Armory

The patch for Modular Armory applies matching cubemaps and environment maps to the new variants added by AMB AVL. Most of this is done in a plugin as AMB AVL uses vanilla meshes with texture sets. There was something funky about the Engraved / Polished Banded Iron Armor texture sets where the shoulder pauldron textures weren't properly swapped. I am not certain where the error is in the plugin so I brute-force fixed the issue by duplicating the original meshes. I also included LeanWolf's Better-Shaped Weapons meshes for the Skyforge sword, greatsword, and dagger.

Modular Armory + Wolf Armors and Weapons Retextured Patch

This is a combo patch for Wolf Armors and Weapons Retexture and the Modular Armory patch for that mod (basically using Xavbio's textures with Modular Armory mesh edits and cubemaps). I added Xavbio's new metalness maps to the two shields (Skyforge and Wolf) as well as to the texture sets for the variant Wolf Armor.

Requires Xavbio's retextures for at least the metalness maps and Modular Armory for at least the cubemap.

Open World Loot

The patch for Open World Loot (which also requires the Randomized Special Loot addon!) overwrites AMB AVL's distribution of the new variants and integrates them into OWL's lists instead.
