abby's grass mashup

this is my first ever custom grass patch (and first ever mod), combining three of my favourite grass mods: Northern Grass, Veydosebrom Regions and Skoglendi. I chose my favourite grass type for each region and edited some grasses to suit my preferences.

a FOMOD is included allowing you to choose between the brown and green tundra.

this mod includes the necessary meshes and textures from Veydosebrom and Skoglendi as they have open permissions, meaning you don't need to install those mods.

requirements

  []Northern Grass SE

  installation
  • []install Northern Grass SE. endorse that mod :)

    [](optional) install the Complex Grass patch for Northern Grass. make sure its textures overwrite the ones from Northern Grass SE.

  • install this mod and make sure its .esp(s) load after  NorthernGrass.esp

  compatibility

  your game won't crash (I think...), but using this grass patch alongside other grass mods will likely have unintended results.

  performance

  as all three of the grass mods used are relatively performance friendly, this grass patch should perform relatively well.

  I recommend setting your iMinGrassSize (found in your Skyrim.ini, or GrassControl.ini if you use NGIO) to a value between 40 and 50. higher value = less dense, better performance.

  mod recommendations

  if you're using Community Shaders, I highly recommend Grass Lighting and Grass Collision.
