The new fantastic hitstop mod Stop On Slash AE - HitStop and Screen Shake allows a great deal of customization when it comes to the hitstop effect. This is my take on what I'd like to think are realistic but impactful settings where your weapon swings have real weight behind them. I find they work quite well with my animations, but depending on yours you may want to tweak them a bit. Give them a go and let me know what you think.
