Third Person Movement Delay Fix

Information

This is a simple tweak to remove the built in delay when moving in third person. If you've found movement to be sluggish then give it a try, and it's essential for the mods that allow you to see your legs such as Enhanced Cameras, where the "smooth animation" feature turns on third person permanently.

If you are not sure if you have the issue, go into third person and quickly tap a movement key. Your character will likely wait a short while to move, as opposed to first person when it's instant.

I originally found this by looking through the master list of Skyrim.ini settings, as posts dating back to 2011 were complaining about the issues, but nobody had found a solution. There are potentially other related settings, but the only other one I found to work was related to the dampening amount. I uploaded it as a mod since it's a lot more portable than trying to remember settings in a text file if you reinstall Windows.

The main file contains the fix but keeps the smooth movement, I'd recommend to use this one if it works.

The optional file contains the fix and removes all dampening, turning it into the very rigid movement you get in first person. This seems to work for more people, but breaks the immersion, so only use it as a last resort.

Skyrim Special Edition + Possible Fix

This is not tested on Skyrim Special Edition, but posts seem to say it works for some and not for others. I have a theory that it could be related to FPS, which could explain why the value is left so high by default. You could try changing 0. 01 to something a bit higher if it does nothing for your game.
