The lack of a mod with this kind of feature and the fact that enemies do not give chase across lakes, rivers and just generally having a fear of water really irked me so I rectified that problem by giving humanoids and animals the ability to enter water and hunt you down to continue smashing your face :P No more using cheap tactics to avoid fighting hordes of bandits or wolves or pesky door to door sales people!
All humanoid races and most animals will enter water to either flee or fight.
Please note, diving into deep water with a hoard of enemies in tow will not stop them from following you. They won't be able to attack though unless they're fishies so man up and fight :P
