Description
Falmer and hagravens look more real and alive, with subsurface scattering for skin, environment mapping and reflections to eyes, and anisotropic lighting + highlights for hair enabled.
All falmer are covered, including feral vampire falmer and female falmer from Dawnguard. Additionally, the female falmer circlet's gemstone has been replaced with a new high poly multifaceted emerald. Environmental mapping and cubemaps has also been enabled on Falmer armor.
Hagravens have new demonic looking black eyes, while glenmoril witches have reddish-pink eyes like in vanilla. The included esp is for enabling the new skin shaders on glenmoril witches.

This mod replaces the default skin shaders for Falmer and Hagravens with realistic subsurface scattering, eye reflections, and anisotropic hair highlights. It also adds environmental mapping to Falmer armor and a high poly emerald circlet for female Falmer. A visual enhancement for Skyrim players who want more lifelike creatures.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 506 endorsements and over 17k downloads.
- Adds meaningful visual depth to two often-overlooked enemy types.
- Includes armor and circlet upgrades, not just skin textures.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2018 — may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim version or other shader mods.
- Only affects Falmer and Hagravens, so it's a niche visual tweak.
For Skyrim players who want more realistic and detailed creature visuals, especially those who focus on enemy aesthetics. If you're a texture mod enthusiast or play with other shader overhauls, this is a nice addition. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or broader visual overhauls.
