📋 About This Mod
Hello everybody! This small mod puts food in the random cooking pots placed around the world.
The file does not require any DLC and has no scripts, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.
Have you ever been bothered by all these pots hanging over fires, but never having anything inside? Are people from Skyrim shy eaters, or did you always catch them after they had their meal? Well, this is no more!
This lightweight mod adds food to these pots, one item at a time of course, since you cannot cook two meals at the same time, can you? The foods are all cooked, and range from vegetables, to meats, soups and stews. Raw foods, and items like bread, drinks and fruit are not included. Should come in handy if you have one of those fancy hunger mods.
This really shouldn't conflict with anything, and it requires no DLCs. Bon appetit!
Notes I originally made this mod for the Steam Workshop. Link here. To install, place the files in your 'Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data' folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or use your mod manager of choice to install the mod automatically. Have fun!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny mod that does exactly what it says—no bloat, just food in pots.
- Community-approved with 893 endorsements, so you know it works for others.
- Adds a touch of realism and makes looting more fun without overhauling the game.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects pots—if you're looking for broader loot changes, this won't cut it.
- Last updated in 2013, so it might have compatibility issues with newer Skyrim versions or mods.
- Could conflict with other mods that alter pot contents or add new items to the world.
For Skyrim players who enjoy immersive details and want a bit more reward from exploring. If you're a completionist who checks every container, this mod is a nice touch. Skip it if you want major gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic loot variety.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2, just download and install—no extra steps needed.
- Since this mod is from 2013, check if you're playing Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition; you may need to convert the mod or use a compatibility patch.
- Load order shouldn't matter much for a simple mod like this, but placing it near other loot or immersion mods can help avoid conflicts.
