UE INI Editor is a Vortex extension for editing Unreal Engine GameUserSettings.ini files safely and conveniently.

  Getting Started

  • []Install the extension through Vortex.[/]

    []Open the UE INI Editor page.[/]

    []The extension automatically searches for Unreal Engine configuration folders.[/]

    []Select the required configuration folder from the list.[/]

    []Adjust the desired settings.[/]

    []Review the change preview.[/]

    []Confirm the changes.[/]

    The configuration folder usually has a path similar to:

    C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\<Game>\Saved\Config\Windows

    The exact folder may be different depending on the game and Unreal Engine version.

    Safety

    UE INI Editor creates a backup before applying changes.

    The original file is not modified until the user confirms the change preview.

    Always close the game before applying or restoring settings.

    Limitations

    This initial version focuses on GameUserSettings.ini.

    Repeated keys, Unreal Engine array-style entries, structured values, and service parameters may be displayed as read-only to prevent accidental file corruption.

    The advanced Engine.ini editor is planned for a future update.
