Star Trek Voyager - Across the Unknown Vortex Extension

This is my first Nexus Mods upload, so feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome.

This is a Vortex extension for Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown.

It adds native Vortex support for installing Unreal Engine PAK and IoStore-based mods. Supported mod files are automatically placed in:

STVoyager\Content\Paks\~mods

The extension supports both Steam and Epic Games Store installations.

Installation Instructions

1. Install Vortex.

2. Download this extension.

3. Install the extension through Vortex.

4. Restart Vortex.

5. Select Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown as the active game.

6. Install supported Voyager mods normally through Vortex.

The extension automatically handles .pak, .ucas, and .utoc files and deploys them to the game's Content\Paks\~mods directory.

The Unreal Engine Universal Signature Check Bypasser can also be installed through Vortex using Nexus Mods' Add to Vortex button. When Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown is the active game in Vortex, the extension recognises the bypasser's files and deploys them to:

STVoyager\Binaries\Win64

No manual extraction or directory configuration should be required for supported mods.

Requirements

  []Engine Universal Signature Check Bypasser — only required by Voyager mods that specifically depend on it.[/]

The Unreal Engine Universal Signature Check Bypasser is not a universal requirement for Voyager mods, but many mods require it because the game uses Unreal Engine archive signature checking.

If a mod lists the Unreal Engine Universal Signature Check Bypasser as a requirement, it must be installed separately before using that mod. With Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown active in Vortex, the bypasser can be installed using Nexus Mods' Add to Vortex button and the extension will place its files in the correct Binaries\Win64 directory.

The extension does not install the bypasser automatically and does not make it a requirement for every Voyager mod.

Individual mods may have additional requirements. Check the Requirements and Installation sections on each mod's Nexus Mods page.
