Loading Screen Installer

Loading Screen Installer (v1. 8. 11) is a Vortex extension for Fallout 76 that installs and removes custom loading screens by copying PNGs into your in-game Photo Gallery folder.

Fallout 76 loads custom loading screens from:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76\Photos\<UserFolder>\

Vortex can’t deploy files directly into Documents, so this extension runs after Deploy (or on-demand) and safely copies images from a selected “Loading Screens” mod into the correct Photos subfolder.

First-time setup (required)Fallout 76 does not create your Photos subfolder until you take at least one picture:

• []Launch Fallout 76

  []Enter Photo Mode and take 1 picture

  []Close the game

Then select your Photos subfolder in:

Vortex → Settings → Loading Screens

Install

• []Download the extension ZIP

  []Vortex → Extensions → Install From File → select the ZIP

  []Restart Vortex if prompted

  []Install and enable a loading screen PNG pack as a normal Vortex mod

  []Click Deploy (or use Install/Sync Now in Settings)

Uninstall / cleanupRemove a loading screen pack (keep the extension):

Remove the extension:

Safety / Ban risk - This extension does not modify the game executable, inject DLLs, hook memory, or change gameplay. It only copies/removes image files in the user’s Photo Gallery folder that Fallout 76 already uses for loading screens.
