Hidden Files Cleaner for Mod Organizer

Hidden Files Cleaner is a Mod Organizer plugin that makes the process of deleting .mohidden files quick and effortless.

When you hide files inside MO2, it renames them with a .mohidden extension rather than deleting them. Over time these files accumulate and just sit there taking up space.

This plugin lets you clean them out safely, with a full preview before anything is touched.

Installation & Usage

• []Download the latest release archive from the download section.[/]

  []Extract the hidden_files_cleaner folder from the archive directly into Mod Organizer's plugins folder (...\MO2\plugins).[/]

  []Restart Mod Organizer if it was open.[/]

  []From the Tools menu (wrench icon), choose either:

  []Delete Hidden Files From Mod... → pick a single mod from your mod list, then preview and confirm.[/]

  []Delete Hidden Files From All Mods → scans your entire mod list at once: uncheck any mod you want to skip before confirming.[/]

[]Review the preview tree (grouped by mod, showing every file that will be affected), adjust the options if needed, then click Delete.[/]

• []Files are sent to the Recycle Bin by default: this can be unchecked in the preview dialog for permanent deletion instead.[/]

  []Empty folders left behind after deletion are removed automatically by default: this can also be unchecked.[/]

  []Nothing is deleted until you review the preview and click Delete: the scan itself is non-destructive.[/]
