Atmospheric reshade

Just want to share my preset which I use for my own)

It was create on Project X reshade as base.

P. S. Updated version (1. 2) with a more movie-like atmosphere (2006) (added few new screenshots for the comparison). Improved performance and more clarity in dark areas (no more completely black shadows everywhere = much better visibility and much detailed image)

I don`t like original colorful green palette so I tried to change atmosphere closer to original Silent Hill 2. Original game has many completelly black parts which looks weird, so I also took some contrast and corrected brightness to make it look more foggy and atmospheric - now it looks more like place, where you feel lost and depressed. There are few more effects to make it all look the same good in different locations.

Letterbox and DoF are just for screenshots so you can easily disable them by pressing "Home" and unchecking them from the list. (see screenshot)

No impact on performance - feel free to use it on your preferred graphic settings =)

1. Install ReShade from official site and select SHProto-Win64-Shipping.exe

2. Select DirectX 10/11/12

3. Click "Browse" and choose the "CineFX" preset.

4. Add "Reshade" folder from my archive into the main directory of the game

5. Add other files (reshade-shaders folder and 2 files) in SILENT HILL 2 REMAKE\SHProto\Binaries\Win64\

P. S. Don`t forget to correct in-game brightness on our own preference
