OPV-75 Class

OPV-75 Class Offshore Patrol Vessel Overview The OPV-75 Class is a high-speed offshore patrol vessel designed for maritime security, EEZ patrol, search and rescue, and limited surface combat operations. Built around a compact 77-meter hull, the ship combines the endurance and utility of an OPV with a much heavier combat fit than a standard patrol vessel. Designed as a lower-cost platform below full corvettes and frigates, OPV-75 is intended to operate in coastal waters, island chains, and extended patrol zones where speed, aviation support, and flexible mission equipment are more important than heavy fleet-level sensors. With a large stern flight deck, open mission spaces, side-access utility areas, and a strong self-defense package, the ship is capable of patrol, escort, interdiction, anti-smuggling, SAR, and fast-response naval security missions. General Characteristics Length: 77 m Beam: 12. 5 m Draft: 4 m Height: 22 m Displacement: ~1,500 tons (16k Supply) Top Speed: 40 knots Cruise Speed: 30 knots at 1/2 power Armament 1 × 30 mm six-barrel Gatling gun 1 × Heavy CIWS mounted aft 2 × 20 mm remote weapon stations 2 × Quad anti-ship missile launchers Decoy and defensive support systems The weapons package gives the OPV-75 much stronger offensive and defensive capability than a standard patrol vessel. The 30 mm Gatling gun and 20 mm RWS mounts provide close-range protection against small boats, drones, and asymmetric threats, while the aft heavy CIWS improves terminal defense around the helicopter deck and stern sector. The 2×4 anti-ship missile arrangement allows the ship to perform limited surface strike missions when required, turning it into a fast patrol combatant without fully crossing into frigate territory. Aviation & Mission Capability The stern flight deck supports a large HH-101A-inspired utility helicopter for patrol, SAR, transport, and maritime support operations. The helicopter gives the ship extended reach beyond its onboard sensors and allows the OPV
