Wages Manager
A phone app that adds proper wage management and operations monitoring to Schedule I. Pay employees from anywhere on the map, automate the daily pay routine, watch every property's production health at a glance, get actionable alerts when something needs you, and keep a full record of every payment.
Why this exists:
Once you've hired more than a handful of employees, the stock flow gets tedious — walking to each briefcase, paying everyone by hand each morning, no record of who you paid or when, and no easy way to tell which property is quietly jammed up or losing you money. This mod surfaces all of it as a single phone app: pay, automate, monitor, and get alerted, without leaving your business behind to go check on it.
What it adds:
Pay actions:
• Pay one employee, pay everyone at a property, or pay your entire operation with one button
• The cash check happens up front, so you never half-pay a batch when funds are tight
• Live payroll coverage bar and DUE / PAID status on every employee
AutoPay:
• Per-property toggle — opt a whole location in
• Per-employee override — opt individuals in or out regardless of their property setting
• Schedule mode — run the AutoPay sweep at a configurable in-game hour each day instead of paying the instant wages come due (default 7 AM; any hour from 7 AM to 11 PM). If you're short at the scheduled hour, it retries later in the day instead of skipping everyone.
Operations Health board:
Each property row shows its single worst problem at a glance, colour-coded, in priority order:
Bed shortage → Unpaid staff → Employee stuck → Storage full → Output blocked → Input shortage → Uncollected output → No production → Understaffed → Healthy
• Only the stations your employees are actually assigned to count toward it
• A problem must hold for about half an in-game hour before it shows, so normal load/run/unload rhythm never makes the board flicker — and it clears instantly when resolved
• Statuses name the affected machine type (e.g. "Input shortage (Oven)")
• Opening a property shows a readable breakdown banner naming every affected machine, plus a live per-employee status chip (Working / Waiting on batch / Idle / Stuck / the exact machine problem)
• A per-property Understaffed alert you can set a staff target for
Alerts Inbox:
A dedicated Alerts screen (with a live count badge on the app icon) that collects actionable, persistent alerts instead of letting problems vanish as momentary popups:
• AutoPay came up short on cash
• Payroll reserve below your target
• Unpaid employees
• No free bed
• Workers idle past a threshold you set
• Production blocked / material shortage / storage full
• Paying wages while nothing is producing
• 24/7 workers idle overnight
• Settings-file recovery events
Every alert names the affected property or worker, with an Open button that jumps you straight there, plus Snooze 1 day and Dismiss. Dismissing hides an alert until you reload or the next in-game day — if the problem is still happening, it comes back, so the inbox always reflects reality. Fixed problems clear themselves automatically. Idle-worker and reserve-target thresholds are configurable, and the inbox persists with your save.
Wages History:
• Full payment log per save, with PAID and AUTO badges
• Grouped by in-game day with readable "Today / Yesterday / Wed Day 65" dividers
• Shows employee name, role, location, time, and amount
• Updates live while you watch it
Per-employee controls:
• Adjust each employee's daily wage in $25 steps (persists across saves; drop it all the way down to restore the vanilla wage)
• Move an employee to a different property without the in-game NPC dialogue — the move is verified and the employee arrives immediately instead of walking across the map
• Teleport buttons (optional) — turn "Teleport" on in the footer and every property row gets a button that jumps you straight there
24/7 mode (optional, two independent toggles):
• Workers ON — employees keep working past 4 AM. They still need to be paid and (by default) need a bed assigned.
• Plants ON[/
