How to Install:

Normal version (Il2Cpp)

Download MelonLoader

(Manuel Installation MelonLoader.x64.zip)

Place the mod into:

Schedule I\Mods\SimpleChat.dll

To configure the keys, I recommend the mod "Mod Manager - Phone App"

Default key to open the chat: Enter (Return)

I wanted a fast and simple chat for Schedule I without having to click into the phone every time.

If you are looking for exactly that, this mod might be for you.

If you want something more advanced or feature-rich, you may prefer a different chat mod instead : )

TRANSLATION

Besides basic chat, this mod also supports translation.

Incoming messages:

Click a message in the chat to translate it.

(The language can be set in the options)

Outgoing messages:

You can send a translated message with:

/tl <languagecode> <text>

Example (send a message in Swedish):

/tl sv How are you?

Optional custom notification sound:

WELCOME TEXT

The welcome message is also configurable, and every player who joins your current game lobby session will see it.

Private whispers (player-to-player) are intentionally not included.

I cannot guarantee true privacy if someone uses a modified version of this mod.

All messages can be read by everyone in your current game lobby session.

No one outside your current game session can receive or see those messages.

So if you use the chat with trusted friends, your chat messages remain inside your current game lobby session only.

If you use the optional translation feature, the message text is sent to Google Translate for translation.

You can optionally turn it off.
