More Dealer Storage

DESCRIPTION

Allows you to add more slots to all dealer inventories, maxing out at 80 in total. Also adds overflow slots to match, and allows you to add additional overflow slots, to alleviate splitting problems (see the NOTES ON "OVERFLOW SLOTS" section below).

USAGE NOTES

IMPORTANT NOTE

Lowering settings in a later game session, will lose the items in the lost slots and overflow slots, so rearrange before doing so.

PERFORMANCE NOTE

I haven't had any lags, but I will warn that with the maximum amount of slots and overflow slots, and all of them being filled, the game might start lagging whenever a dealer has to check through their inventory. Might not, though.

COMPATIBILITY NOTE

The game's storage menu UI normally tops out at 20 slots, so adding more than 15 slots requires the mod to make changes to the UI. It does without a problem, but just know that adding more than 15 slots, incurs an extra chance of weird behavior or mod incompatibilities.

NOTES ON "OVERFLOW SLOTS"

Most players probably don't know this, but dealers have hidden "overflow slots" to hold jars and baggies from splitting bricks and jars, when their 5 inventory slots are full. They have 10 of those slots, so they can handle having 5 stacks of different types of bricks in their regular inventory, and splitting them into both jars and baggies, without losing items.

That is until you swap out a type of brick or jar, to a type they don't have one of already, since the jars and baggies of the previous type remain in the overflow slots. Any deals requiring splits, will lose the jars and/or baggies, if the overflow container is full!

Whenever they make a deal or you close the trade window, they try to move items from those overflow slots into their regular inventory slots, so you can get them out, if you leave a few slots free, close the window, and trade with them again.

None of the other mods that add dealer slots, make sure to also add 2 extra overflow slots per added inventory slot, but this one does, so you won't lose a bunch of items due to dealers having to split bricks and jars (not more than in the base game, at least). The mod even allows you to add extra overflow slots, to alleviate this even more.

INSTALLATION

There are two versions of this mod: IL2CPP (default game version) and Mono (for the beta branch).

Just unpack it directly into your steamapps/common/Schedule I/Mods folder.

You should end up with this:

CUSTOMIZABILITY

To change these settings, you can edit the MelonLoader preferences file or use a mod manager.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Settings don't show up in the preferences file, until you've started the game with the mod, and quit the game normally once.

  []Extra Overflow Slots To Add ----> Max is 20. These are in addition to the 2 overflow slots added per extra dealer slot. Default is 4.[/]
