Money Laundering Speed Booster

The LaunderMaster mod is a quality-of-life modification for Schedule I designed to give players direct control over laundering operations. Normally in the game, laundering operations take a set amount of in-game time to complete, and that time translates to real-world minutes. For example, in Schedule I, one in-game day (24 hours) is condensed to roughly 24 minutes of real playtime. That means laundering a large amount of money can sometimes require long stretches of waiting around, which can be frustrating if the player is trying to keep up momentum or move quickly through business expansions.

What the LaunderMaster mod does is inject functionality through MelonLoader that allows the player to override those built-in timers with hotkeys. It adds two special controls: F7 and F8.

When the player presses F7, the mod iterates through every currently owned business and checks each laundering operation tied to it. Instead of letting them run their normal course, the mod modifies the completionTime_Minutes value of each operation. By setting it to the current minutesSinceStarted plus 120 in-game minutes, the operation is forced to complete in exactly two real-world minutes, regardless of how much time was left before. In practice, this means that no laundering job will ever take more than 120 in-game minutes (which equals two real minutes on the player’s clock). This is especially useful for players who don’t want to completely remove waiting mechanics, but still prefer a drastically shortened, predictable wait time.

The second function is tied to the F8 key. Pressing F8 tells the mod to set each operation’s completion time equal to the time already passed (minutesSinceStarted). In other words, the operation is treated as if it has already run its full course. The effect is an instant completion of all laundering jobs across every business the player owns. This effectively eliminates waiting altogether, giving the player immediate access to their laundered money.

The mod also includes robust error handling. Instead of silently failing, it logs detailed error messages and instructs players to contact the developer (“DM pitbikes_ on Discord with this error”) if something goes wrong. This makes debugging and user support much easier.

Overall, LaunderMaster provides players with flexibility: they can keep the laundering system but speed it up with F7, or bypass it completely with F8. It makes the grind less tedious without removing the mechanic entirely unless the player chooses to.
