Legal Tweaks

LegalTweaks gives you full control over item legal status in Schedule I,

without touching any game code directly.

All settings are configured through MelonPreferences.cfg.

If you don't want, or know how to configure a mod there are two preconfigured files available.

► Per-item toggles for weapons, ammo, and seeds

Enable or disable illegal status individually for:

- Baseball Bat, Machete

- M1911, Pump Shotgun, Revolver

- M1911 Magazine, Revolver Cylinder, Shotgun Shell

- OG Kush, Grand Daddy Purple, Green Crack and Sour Diesel seeds

- Coca Seed

► Custom item ID lists

Enable custom comma-separated item ID lists for each severity level:

- ControlledSubstance

- LowSeverityDrug

- ModerateSeverityDrug

- HighSeverityDrug

Any item in the game can be targeted this way (other than maybe cash, haven't tested).

► Make Everything Legal

A single toggle that overrides every non-legal item in the registry to Legal status.

Useful for a stress-free playthrough, without the cops looking at every little item you carry.

► Debug ID Dump

Enable DebugDumpItemIDs to log every item's ID, name, and category

to the MelonLoader console on scene load. Use this to find the exact

ID string for any item you want to add to a custom list.

INSTALLATION

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

1. Install MelonLoader 0. 7. 2 (0. 7. 0 should also work) if you haven't already.

2. Download LegalTweaks, unzip and place the correct DLL in your Mods folder:

- LegalTweaks-Mono.dll for the mono (Alternate) branch

- LegalTweaks-IL2CPP.dll for the IL2CPP (Main) branch

If you use OverTheCounter-Loader, place both DLLs and it will

automatically pick the correct one.

3. Launch, and close the game once to generate MelonPreferences.cfg.

4. Edit UserData/MelonPreferences.cfg to configure your settings, or use ModsApp by k073l
