Formuoli

Formuoli is a mod for Schedule I designed to assist with substance mixing by calculating ingredient sequences needed to achieve specific effects. It provides an in-game interface to help determine recipes.

How it Works:

The mod functions by using a Breadth-First Search algorithm and the game's known mixing rules to determine an ingredient path.

• []Input Target Effects: Access the mod window (default: Control + F), select a starting base substance (Weed, Meth, or Cocaine), and choose the target effects required for the final product (up to 8 effects can be selected).

  []Calculation Process: Upon initiating a search, the mod simulates adding available ingredients step-by-step. It considers:

  []Effect Interactions: How adding an ingredient can change existing effects based on game rules.

  []Default Effects: The standard effect added by an ingredient if no specific interaction occurs.

  []Max Effect Limit: Adheres to the game's limit of 8 active effects.

  []Sequence Identification: The algorithm explores potential ingredient sequences, aiming to find a path that results in a mix containing all the user-selected target effects. It prioritizes finding shorter sequences first.

  []Interface and Performance: The search calculation runs on a background thread to avoid interrupting gameplay. The resulting ingredient sequence, or a message indicating if no sequence was found within the search parameters, is displayed in the mod window.
