This is an EARLY PREVIEW release (v0. 9. 0. 0).

- It is a work-in-progress build, NOT a finished product.

- You WILL encounter bugs, glitches, and rough edges.

- NPCs may get stuck, teleport weirdly, behave erratically,

or have visual issues.

- Performance may be inconsistent in complex terrain.

- Save game compatibility between versions is NOT guaranteed.

If you are looking for a polished experience, please wait for

the stable release. Bug reports, feature ideas, and media/feedback are all welcome!

DESCRIPTION

===========================================================

A BepInEx mod for Casualties: Unknown Demo that adds more NPCs to the game.

NPCs are built on the game's native character system (cloned Experiment body),

featuring full limb physics, animation, blood circulation, and combat.

NPCs bleed, feel pain, go into shock, lose consciousness, get dismembered,

and die - exactly like the player character. There is no fake HP bar; every

wound you inflict goes through the game's real damage and circulation systems.

------------------------------------------------------------

RAIDER (Hostile)

------------------------------------------------------------

Armed enemies that spawn in the world and hunt you down.

- Gun combat: Fires 3-5 round bursts with realistic spread based on

distance, target movement, and recoil. Not a hitscan turret - you can dodge,

break line of sight, and flank.

- Reload: Reloads when the magazine runs dry (2. 5s). Once spare magazines

are exhausted, permanently switches to melee. You can hear them reload -

that's your window to push.

- Surrender: When badly wounded, may drop their weapon and give up. Walk

close and press E to search them for loot.

- Tactical retreat: Flees when critically injured, with retreat chance

depending on how deep underground you are. Will also flee if out of ammo

and outmatched.

- Alert broadcast: When one Raider spots you, nearby Raiders are alerted

to your position. Engage quietly or prepare to fight multiple enemies.

- Animal retaliation: Will shoot hostile animals that enter their range.

- Depth-scaled gear: Weapons, helmets, and body armor improve with

underground depth - surface Raiders carry makeshift pistols and helmets;

deep Raiders wield rifles, riot helmets, and trauma rigs. They also carry

bandages and medical supplies for self-treatment.

------------------------------------------------------------

COMPANION (Friendly)

------------------------------------------------------------

A friendly NPC that follows you and watches your back.

- Command menu: Hover over the Companion and press E to open the command

menu: Follow / Hold Position / Rally / First-Aid / Give Item / Feed / Hug /

Comfort / Release / Rename.

- Battlefield first-aid: Automatically detects when you're bleeding, in

severe pain, or unconscious, and runs over to apply first-aid using real

bandage mechanics - stops bleeding, relieves pain, heals bones, reduces

dislocations. Now also handles splints and disinfectant. Consumes item

condition just like the player would.

- Self-treatment: When out of combat, Companions (and Raiders) treat their

own wounds - bandaging bleeding, splinting fractures, disinfecting

infections, and saline infusion for blood loss. Uses items from their

inventory. Interrupted im
