Mod Features

This mod changes the colors of the wild mushrooms so you can tell them apart! I also rewrote the names and descriptions to give them character and tell you what Status Effect to expect when you eat each one.

Authors Note

Mushroom Roulette is a staple in Rune Factory games. It's fun in concept, and technically true to life, but in practice it just made me not use mushrooms for most of the game...

I figure if you're an Earthmate, you can probably tell mushrooms apart, right? Maybe the Runeys whisper ancient nature secrets to you at night. They're cool like that ;)

This mod is particularly useful for (Spoiler for mid/late game item) Giving yourself status effects to be used with the Talisman's reversal power.

I got tired of using ObjectX, which also gives you Seal, Fatigue and 50% RP debuffs.However, it's also nice for early game healing and just to look pretty.

Conflicts

This mod will conflict with any mod that modifies the following files:

If a mod changes the name or description of in-game items, it might affect this file.

Installation Guide

Unzip and drag the ColorfulMushrooms Folder from the zip file into your RF4 Special "Bundle" folder.

A default path for a Steam install might look like:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rune Factory 4 Special\Bundle
