Choose your own Frey

Details

This mod includes portrait and sprite updates that allow you to choose the hair color you want. This updates all the default outfits and alternate colors. (The monster and soldier outfits are untouched though.) If you see anything weird, please let me know. There were a lot of files and the more files, the greater the chance is that I will screw something up. Plus, I only spot test each Frey option because I offer too many options to playtest them all. (I normally just play with whatever color I was last editing)

Installation

- Download the skin color that you want

- Unzip the downloaded folder and open the folder with the hair color you want, and then select the eye color you want from there

- Navigate to Rune Factory 4 Special's Bundle folder (commonly found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rune Factory 4 Special\Bundle)

- Copy the contents of the folder with your choice of hair & eye color from the downloaded folder into the Bundle folder

- Launch the game and the mods should just work

Compatibility

- This mod should be compatible with all mods that do not edit Frey's portrait or 3D sprites.

- Any genderswap version of the mod should work with the genderswap mod.

Versioning for files

- 0.x.x: Release of a hair color not following color scheming listed below



- 1. 0.x: Initial release of hair color with green eyes

- 1. 1.x: Added blue eyes

- 1. 2.x Added brown eyes

- 1. 3.x Added lilac eyes

- 2.x.x Unified all hair colors together in a singular download by skin tone

Upcoming Plans

- Add additional skin tone options

- Add grey/silver eyes

- Hopefully add a few additional hair colors & eye colors to fill in some color option gaps

- Create gender swapped version of all options

- Possible miscellaneous additions as inspiration strikes
