This project is unmaintained and will remain that way. Use Roadcraft Editor Suite instead.
Unless you need 100% freedom over what you edit it will be much better. My vehicle editor will remain uploaded here, provided as-is. Only upside to this editor is that you can edit anything.
RoadCraft Vehicle Editor v2
A modern, user-friendly Windows Forms application for editing vehicle .cls files for RoadCraft. Built with . NET 8 and C# 12.
NOTE: Even though some settings show up for some vehicles they don't always work!
NOTE2: On some resolutions the app fails to render. Follow these steps to fix it:

[]Right click the exe file and select "Properties"[/]
[]Switch to Compatibility tab[/]
[]Change high DPI settings[/]
[]Tick "Override high DPI scaling behaviour"[/]
[]Set Scaling performed by: System / System (Enhanced)[/]

🖥️ Getting Started
Please note that the description is for the beta version (2. 5R+). Other versions may vary.
1. Installation

[]Download the latest release from Nexus. Optionally look at "Mirrors" tab, there you can find the program in GitHub.[/]
[]Extract the ZIP file to a folder of your choice[/]
2. Launching the Editor

[]Run RoadCraft Vehicle Editor.exe (name may change based on the version you have downloaded)[/]
[]If it's your first time running the editor, it will ask you to set your RoadCraft's main folder.
(Usually found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RoadCraft)[/]
🏗️ Usage Instructions
Selecting a Vehicle

[]On launch, you’ll see a categorized list of vehicles on the left.[/]
[]Click a vehicle to load its properties.[/]

[]Properties are grouped (General, Dump, Steering, etc..)[/]
[]Each property is shown with a label and an appropriate editor (textbox, dropdown, checkbox, or numeric up/down).[/]
[]"All CLS Files" tab lets you edit other cls files besides the main one, enabling the editing of wheel files[/]
Saving Changes
After editing, click the Save button. You will be prompted with three options:

[]Save to file: Export a .cls file to a location of your choice (cannot overwrite originals).[/]
[]Save to .pak file: Inject your modified vehicle directly into game .pak file (default_other.pak).[/]
[]Save to folder structure: Export as a ready-to-use mod folder structure.[/]
Make sure you delete default_other.pak.cache before starting the game!

User settings allow you to add custom properties to the editor.

❓ FAQ
Q: Can I edit any property?
A: You can edit any property exposed in the UI. For custom properties, add them via the UI.
Q: Can I break my game with this?
A: Editing .cls files can affect game behavior. Always back up your files before making changes.
Q: Why is the program rendering incorrectly?
A: Because of your resolution. Read the second note on top of the description.
