Modded Zikz 605e Transporter

This works in the latest UPDATE 6. 0/6. 1 (MARCH 2026)

The Zikz 605e Heavy Transporter truck now has the following edits done to make it more usable:

All wheel drive (AWD) can be turned on/off, Diff lock, tyres/tires from the MTK Proseka 200 on the truck and trailer, faster gear changes, more engine horsepower/torque, also has slightly better suspension and steering, more tyre grip and stronger handbrake.

More suspension tweaks, REAR STEER on the trailer, fog can be cleared in a larger area, can drive deeper into water before "engine floods".

Everything from the latest update works: Start/stop engine & secure to trailers.

Updated and slight improvements.

Manual transmission/gearbox, bigger fuel tank, better fuel economy.

Updated to current version. Some improvements

Changed the rear steering and have added AWD to the trailer.

SETUP

Download the file

Go to this directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default (Or go to steam and check local game files)

Backup - default_other.pak (As in copy it to your desktop or a folder in case you need to restore the vehicle back to original)

Once backed up, open default_other.pak that is located in the above directory (Not your backup) using Winrar.

Go to - default_other.pak\ssl\autogen_designer_wizard\trucks

In this folder, replace the files with the ones you downloaded. (you may have to unzip the downloaded file) or simply drag across

Confirm any overwrites.

BEFORE LAUNCHING THE GAME DELETE "DEFAULT_OTHER. PAK. CACHE"

This is located in - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default (Or different depending on your set up)

MODS NEED TO BE REINSTALLED EVERYTIME THE GAME DOES AN UPDATE!!!

** I have my steam games installed on another drive so my folder path is different.   D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default

You can also go to your steam library and right click on RoadCraft- Properties- Installed files- Browse and it will show you where the game is installed.
