Full game overhaul of all trucks and economy, etc. Game is super easy. Enjoy! Made with AI. Tokens are expensive, buy me a kofi.
GRIPPERY WHEN WET
A RoadCraft overhaul. Comes in two lengths.
Every truck in RoadCraft, regripped, regeared, and reground until it works the way the box said it would. Slopes you couldn't climb. Convoys that couldn't drive themselves. A roller that ate its own asphalt. All of it, handled — thoroughly, and more than once.
Compatible with RoadCraft Update 7. 2 (buildid 25119957).
FULL vs MP — pick your length
-
[]FULL — everything, including map debris turned into real salvage. Solo, or hosting a session where every player is also running FULL — it only works if the whole table matches.[/]
[]MP — same tuning, held back at the door on the debris conversion. Safe to join any session, or host one where not everyone's on FULL.[/]
TRACTION — Grip & Suspension
It won't say no to a slope.
-
[]Full-fleet grip recipe — every wheel's friction, substance grip, and sideways hold raised, scaled correctly by vehicle class instead of dumped flat across everything.[/]
[]Slope grip that doesn't quit at 40° — vanilla hard-stopped climbing at a fixed angle no matter how good your tyres were. Grip now holds out to 90° on 106 vehicles.[/]
[]Tracked machines left as tracks — bogies aren't tyres. The mass/friction recipe no longer turns a bump into a launch ramp for the Kite, the tree crusher, or anything else on tread.[/]
[]Articulated steering respected — the Crayfish harvester and Krot cable layer get real grip without it fighting the hinge they actually steer by.[/]
[]Independent, boat-soft suspension — every wheel gets its own travel, biased hard toward droop so a rut doesn't roll the body; heavier wheels keep the centre of mass down.[/]
DRIVETRAIN — Speed, Torque & Convoys
Every gear, taken all the way to redline.
-
[]Every gear at its rated speed — reworked from the game's own design data: scouts to ~78 km/h, heavies to ~42 km/h, tracked classes and low range included.[/]
[]Low range stopped crawling — a creep gear that used to be slower than useless is now a proper walking pace on every truck that has one.[/]
[]Torque compensated, not just multiplied — power scaled to match the heavier, grippier wheels, so nothing ended up planted and sluggish at the same time.[/]
[]AI convoys drive properly — 598 AI-only driving behaviours across 139 trucks now run all-wheel drive and diff lock (vanilla shipped them off). Your own driving is untouched.[/]
[]Gear ratios left alone — force at the wheel never moved, so nothing that could climb or winch before climbs or winches worse now.[/]
ECONOMY — Money & Fuel
Cheaper to keep going than to stop.
-
[]Fuel bills that make sense — consumption capped well under vanilla, and the AWD/low-range/reverse penalties that were quietly tripling it are gone.[/]
[]Bridges cost one material — flat, regardless of length, instead of billing every segment.[/]
[]Field recovery is free — recovering to your mobile base costs nothing, on every difficulty.[/]
[]Hard mode's economy actually helps now — quarry yield 10x, fuel free on every difficulty.[/]
SALVAGE — Full build only
Everything on the map is fair game. Well — in Full.
-
[]Map debris, worth something — rocks, shipping containers, rail carriages, and ruined formwork reclassified from scenery into resources you can actually recycle.[/]
[]Only works if the whole session matches — this reclassing changes what the objects are, so it takes every player in the session on FULL to hold together — host and joiners alike. One player without it, and it desyncs.[/]
INTEGRITY — Under the Hood
Checked. Then checked again.
[]Fully re-ported onto the current build — 2,021 vanilla files changed since the last port, 414 of the mod's own re-applied, every collision resolved by hand or by merge.[/]
[*]Nothing silently reformatted — formatting and indentation drift cleaned up only where it had
