Custom Enemy Health and Damage Scaling for Multiplayer - Fully customizable

Being in Multiplayer increases enemy health and damage but you can now customize their scaling to lower or even higher values!

HealthScaling

Using values higher than the default one will make enemies have more health. Using values lower than the default one will make enemies have less health.

DamageScaling

Using values higher than the default one will make enemies deal more damage. Using values lower than the default one will make enemies deal less damage.

Settings

Open the mod's main.lua file with Notepad to find:

So if you want enemies to have 999 healthscaling you do:

--MultiplayerEnemyHealthScaling

HealthScalling = 999 --Default value 1. 400000. Change "1" to whatever value you want. Higher values = enemies have more health. Accepted values 0. 1 to infinity i guess lol.

Notes

I'm not sure but, it seems like the Scaling values work as a multiplier, so setting them to 1 should make enemies have their Singleplayer Health/Damage. Also setting them to 0 had some weird effects (enemies had infinite health?) but enemies dealt no damage.

It was tested while both players had it installed using the same values. I guess the host should be enough tho since it's their world but I'm not sure.

Installation instructions for UE4SS

Download UE4SS 2. 5. 2. You can find the download link when you scroll all the way down. The file you should download should look something like "UE4SS_Xinput_v2. 5. 2.zip".

To install UE4SS you need to extract its .zip archive and then go to where your game is installed and navigate to this path: \Returnal\Binaries\Win64. Drop the extracted files here. In the end it should look like this:

\Returnal\Binaries\Win64\xinput1_3.dll

\Returnal\Binaries\Win64\Mods

Once installed you need to navigate to \Returnal\Binaries\Win64\. In here you should find a file named "UE4SS-settings.ini". Open it with a text editor like Notepad and look for these lines:

MajorVersion =

MinorVersion =

You need to change the lines "MajorVersion =" and "MinorVersion =" so that they look like this:

MajorVersion = 4

MinorVersion = 25

You then need to find this line:

bUseUObjectArrayCache = true

And change it to this:

bUseUObjectArrayCache = false

Finally find this line:

GuiConsoleEnabled = 1

And change it to this:

GuiConsoleEnabled = 0
