📋 About This Mod
Changes Ethan's movement speed in third person view. Choose from 10 different files to make walking 10% to 50% slower, or 10% to 50% faster.

I like to enjoy the atmosphere of the game and not rush anywhere. That’s why I created a mod for myself that slows Ethan’s movement speed by 20 percent. However, I decided to share it with others, so I created mods to slow him down in 10 percent increments - all the way up to 50% slower.
I also included optional files that do the opposite, allowing Ethan to move faster - up to 50% faster.

If you look closely at the screenshot gallery, you will notice it isn't just a technical showcase - it is a visual journey of transformation.
In the first two chapters, Ethan is depicted in his familiar, worn-out jacket, trapped in the mud of the village and the oppressive darkness of the castle. This is the visual representation of being bound to the material realm - the "swampy quagmire of misery"- where existence feels fragile, fearful, and subject to decay.
However, the third image marks a profound shift. Ethan emerges in a long, mystical, fairy-tale-like coat, stepping into a grand, golden-lit corridor. This is a pilgrimage of the soul. It reminds us that beyond the illusion of suffering and this temporal "world as representation," we hold a higher nature. Every step taken in the dark is not a march toward destruction and death, but a conscious awakening - moving through the storm toward our true, divine essence.
Survival horror is more than a game mechanism. It is a testament to endurance. Keep walking.
