📋 About This Mod
Extends RE9's Photo Mode for Grace and Leon: custom pose and expression packs, animated poses, Follow Camera, up to 5 colored lights and a Save & Load tab with 10 presets
PhotoMode Extension (Works With Steam & Epic Games)
What is PhotoMode Extension?
PhotoMode Extension adds new options straight into the game's own Photo Mode menu, for Grace and Leon.
What it adds
-
[]More Poses -- a new Pose Category row. Install pose packs (or make your own) and pick them right in Photo Mode.[/]
[]Animated Poses -- Play / Pause, Speed and Frame, to stop an animation at the perfect moment.[/]
[]More Expressions -- a new Expression Category row.[/]
[]Eye Position -- Free or Look at Camera.[/]
[]Follow Camera -- her head and eyes keep looking at the camera while you move it. Head Turn sets how far her head turns.[/]
[]Lights -- up to 5 lights in the Effect 1 tab: colour, brightness, size and position, or At Camera so the light moves with your camera. A small numbered marker shows each light while you edit (never in your pictures).[/]
[]Save & Load -- a new tab with 10 presets per character. It saves everything: settings, pose, expression, lights and camera. Left button = Save, right button = Load.[/]

How to Install?
1) Download Fluffy Mod Manager, choose RE9, then drop the mod into the Mods folder.
Open Fluffy and enable PhotoMode Extension (and the Ballerina Poses if you want them).
2) Download REFramework from GitHub (the RE9 file from the latest release) and enable PAK Directory Loading.
3) Open Photo Mode in game. The new rows are in the Character and Effect 1 tabs, and the new Save & Load tab is at the end of the tab bar.
Where are the files?
In your game folder, inside reframework/data/PhotoModeExtension/:
-
[]Grace/Poses and Leon/Poses -- pose packs[/]
[]Grace/Expressions and Leon/Expressions -- expression packs[/]
[]Presets/Grace and Presets/Leon -- your saved presets (you can share them with friends)[/]
Don't need the Placeholders?
The Placeholder.json files are only examples: they add a "Placeholder" category with 3 of the game's own poses or expressions. To remove them, delete Placeholder.json from these folders:
-
[]reframework/data/PhotoModeExtension/Grace/Poses/[/]
[]reframework/data/PhotoModeExtension/Grace/Expressions/[/]
[]reframework/data/PhotoModeExtension/Leon/Poses/[/]
[]reframework/data/PhotoModeExtension/Leon/Expressions/[/]
Make your own poses :
You need two files: a motlist (the file that holds your poses) and a small .json file (it tells the mod which poses to show and what they are called).
My Ballerina Poses (optional file) are made exactly this way, so you can open them and follow along.
Step 1 -- Make your motlist
Create your poses and add them inside a motlist. Every pose in a motlist has a number (its Motion ID). Write down the numbers of your poses, you need them in Step 3.
My 3 Ballerina poses are numbers 8102, 8103 and 8104.
Step 2 -- Put the motlist in your own folder
Use a folder with your name, so your poses never clash with anyone else's.
Mine is here:
natives/STM/Melina/ballerina.motlist. 1047 (Steam)
natives/EGS/Melina/ballerina.motlist. 1047 (Epic)
Step 3 -- Make the .json file
Go to reframework/data/PhotoModeExtension/Grace/Poses/, copy Placeholder.json (or my MelinaMods.json) to use as a reference, rename the copy and open it with Notepad. This is mine:
"Category": "MelinaMods",
"Motlist": "Melina/ballerina.motlist",
{ "Name": "Ballerina 1", "Clip": 8102, "Animation": "No" },
{ "Name": "Ballerina 2", "Clip": 8103, "Animation": "No" },
{ "Name": "Ballerina 3", "Clip": 8104, "Animation": "No" }
[]Category -- the name you see in Pose Category.[/]
