Motion Blur REstored

A LUA script (thanks Claude..) that enables motion blur for the entire game. Screenshots were taken with high exposure, angle and loop count.

Drop the LUA file in your autorun folder

\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL requiem BIOHAZARD requiem\reframework\autorun

and make sure to enable motion blur in the in-game settings, as well as in REFramework under "Script Generated UI" at the very bottom.

Partial shoutout to SilverEzredes's https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevilrequiem/mods/445 which I used as reference to feed Claude, so the LLM had a scripting reference. Was still a pain and took several hours to try it myself via the main scn. 21 file and then finding out the proper structure via the object explorer in Framework.

Q: Is it camera or object?

A: The motion blur is full, so both camera and object motion blur. There's no way of separating it, for me anyway. In the game's files it's just "motion blur", and like 99% of games are like this anyway. Shoutout to Dark Souls 2 for splitting its motion blur setting into camera and object.

Q: It looks bad, fix it!

A: Not a question, and there's nothing much to fix. You can adjust the strength in a couple of different ways, but that's about it. In motion it looks good enough, I think. Blur loop count I'd keep at 8, and regarding exposure and angle, the higher either are, the more blur you'll get. Mess around with them.
