Ethan Forgot His Glasses (Blurry ReShade)

Ethan forgot his glasses in the car and now the world is nothing but a blurry smudge, but do not worry! You still have sound and feeling (bumping into walls) to help guide you through your journey!

Ethan Forgot His Glasses is a special reshade aimed to grant the player the unique experience of seeing through the eyes of a legally blind, but devoted Ethan Winters providing the player with a unique and novel difficulty hurdle to overcome where listening for footsteps and memorizing locations matters most!

INSTALLING THE RESHADE PRESET (Click the orange text to download ReShade and extract it to your desktop)

1. Download and extract my ReShade mod file to the game install location (To find this, open Steam library, right click the game and open Manage > Browse Local Files. It will open the install location)

2. After the mod is in place, open ReShade program from your desktop and let it detect the game

3. Click the game and then click "next" two times

4. Then click "Uncheck all" at the top and click Browse to open the file browser to select my ReShade file.

Now click next and finish!

RUNNING THE GAME

1. After opening the game, a loading bar will appear at the top. To avoid your game freezing, don't press ANYTHING. If you don't see the loading bar ever pop up, it means you picked the wrong rendering API during setup and will have to reinstall ReShade to the game.

2. Once loaded, tap the HOME key, skip the tutorial, and click the folder bar on the top (see image below for assistance)

3. Once the mod is selected, ReShade will load and apply it to your game.
