REvamped (UHD) (WIP)

This mod is still WIP and will be updated over time with improvements and new features, at the moment it is in a very initial stage. Some of the features mentioned still being polished and will be available in the future.

Description

An overhaul for Resident Evil 4 UHD that expands the adventure and offers a different way to play the game. Some of the goals of this project include:

• []Main Village Overhaul - Expand the Main Village with new areas and interiors.[/]

  []New Ashley Areas - Add new areas, with the possibility of exploring the Ashley Segment with Leon after rescuing her.[/]

  []Sunset Time - After waking up with Luis, time passed and night is coming. When returning to the village a new wolves ambush awaits Leon.[/]

  []Improved Lighting - Tweak the stages lighting extensively, including a new type of flashlight and visual effects.[/]

  []Realistic Ladder Climb Down - No more "Jump Down" from very high altitude like in the Watchtower and other sections of the game.[/]

  []Weapons - Handcannon in the main campaign and its upgradades (I'll also try to add Chicago Typerwriter).[/]

  []Enemies - Tweak enemy placement / equipment / outfit / skin / speed / weapon variation.[/]

  []Merchant - Permanent death, if player kills it in a area it will not respawn in subsequent areas.[/]

  []Ink Ribbon -  Required to save the progress now.[/]

  []Radio - Immersive radio calls, dynamic dialogue during gameplay.[/]

  Requirements

  • []HD Project  -  The mod requires HD Project with HD Textures set to ON.[/]

    []Companion DLL  -  The mod requires the DLL (not the trainer) installed in order to work properly.[/]

    []RE4 Tweaks -  It is already included with HD Project, but check the latest version.[/]

    []DXVK - Not required but can improve CPU overhead. However, it increases the frequency of crashes compared to native DX9.[/]

    []Fix Steam - For non-Steam versions, you need this launcher.[/]

    Installation instructions

    • []Install HD Project, Companion DLL in your Resident Evil 4 UHD folder. The folder structure should look like this.[/]

      []Install RE4 Tweaks but do not overwrite Companion DLL files, rename "dinput8.dll" and "dinput8.ini" from RE4 Tweaks to "xinput1_3.dll" and "xinput1_3.ini" respectively.[/]

      []Now simply drag and drop the mod and its updates on top, overwriting the files when asked. Have fun!

      Q&A

      Q: How updates will work?

      A: The releases will be in the form of Side-Loaded files, using the Companion DLL to load the updates over the main files. When traditional files are needed they wi
