RE4 Realistic Gun Damage and Ammo Stacks

Rebalances damage based on ammo type and more realistic ammo stacks.

Generally multiplies gun damage across the board by 5 grouped by ammo, and greatly reduces the gap in firepower upgrades. It still pays to upgrade firepower but it's less gimicky and more believable.

NOTE Because of the way weapon damage is calculated in this game, keep in mind that the default handgun WITHOUT upgrades still give the default damage. Sorry. BUT if you upgrade the firepower once, it will have realistic damage.

Best to be played with Professional mode. Yes, this makes the game a lot easier.

Also keep in mind that enemy health isn't consistent throughout the chapters in this game. The same type of enemy will have different amounts of health depending on the chapter, which doesn't make sense IMO, but whatever.

Ammo stacks are changed based on real life ammo dimensions

Length 3cm, Diameter 9mm

100 in 1 stack - 27000mm3 volume. This ammo is used as a reference for other ammo stacks.

length 2 3/4in (6. 99cm), Diameter 18. 53mm

20 in 1 stack (def. 15)

length 22. 8mm, Diameter 12. 2mm

90 in 1 stack (def. 10, i think)

length 99mm, diameter 20. 4mm

10 (same as default)
