📋 About This Mod
This is my attempt to make the controls identical to the PS2 version. Installing the HD Project is 100% necessary.
I made two versions, one that comes with the otoño ashley mod and one that doesn't. This is because Ashley's textures and the hud are stored in the same pack.
I just edited the in-game hud and the input.ini, using Albert Marin's PS BUTTONS mod as a base. I basically just swapped/edited some files.
All the credit goes to him. These textures are his work.
This is an amateur-ish work, don't expect it to be perfect (I will update it if necessary, don't be afraid to request changes).
Keep in mind that the textures edits only change the in-game HUD, things like tutorials, some specific menus and other stuff still show the original controls. It doesn't matter what they tell you, you confirm with X and call Ashley with R2, as you do on the PS2 version.
Installation instructions:
1- MAKE SURE the HD Project 1. 1is properly installed.
2- Download my mod and extract the compressed file.
3- Copy the folder "BIO4" you'll find next to the readme file.
4- Paste it inside your game directory. Typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 4
5- Replace the existent files when prompted.
6- Make sure you use the type-1 controls, that's the one I edited and I didn't touch the other two.

This should be compatible with any mod that doesn't replace texture packs where the HUD is stored, especially 07000000.pack.lfs
