HUNK REDUX (RE4 UHD)

This is a redux of the first mod I uploaded to Nexus Mods: 

, which was a commission. This version made by me tweaks a lot of things I noticed from the previous mod but to the point it could no longer work with those files, or it would get people confused. This upload will serve as the streamline version for any fixes and updates

The previous mod was only available for those with the HD Project Installed. This mod supports BOTH the default Steam version of Resident Evil 4 and the 

 version. It is just a costume replacer and nothing more.

CHANGES FROM THE ORIGINAL UPLOAD:

Some of these were done to keep the model as light as possible

• []The knife is restored to the original one that Leon uses. No longer a custom model.

  []The flashlight attached to the waist is no longer present.

  []Mesh fixes around the arms and neck (When your character gets decapitated).

  []Rigging fixes on the knee pads and elbow pads to avoid stretching (Elbow pads still stretch a bit).

• When using the HD Project version, Hand Grenades, Flash Grenades, Incendiary Grenades and the Rocket Launcher are using their corresponding HD textures.

  Another significant change I did as a practical workaround was extending part of the mesh around the ears and neck so you wouldn't see Leon's head clipping through Hunk's mask during cutscenes. Using a DLL companion completely fixes that amongst other things, but those files don't work for me on Linux, and maybe having a dependency on extra files isn't something you like. Therefore, this mod doesn't require anything else! Just as simple as dropping the files into the game folder!

  INSTALLATION

  There are two files to download. Only download one for your corresponding version of the game. If you don't have HD Project mod installed, then the default version is the one you need. Trying to run the HD skin of Hunk without the before-mentioned mod will cause issues.

  You may install this through Fluffy Manager by dropping the "HUNK REDUX" folder under your Mods folder or install manually by dropping the contents of "BIO4" folder inside your game directory, just remember to make a backup of your files.

  RE4 game directory usually looks like this (Windows):

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 4\BIO4

  ONE NOTE:

  There is a visual bug during cutscenes if you are using Re4_Tweaks costume override. If this option is not enabled, the bug won't show!
