Third Person Rifles for Iron Sights

New in v0. 993 FOV slider and HUNK Mod support

This mod adds 3rd Person rifles to replace the iron sight aim.

This version is different than other 3rd person rifles mods. It has the same FOV as other 3rd person weapons and has smooth aiming transitions. The crosshair also functions properly. Also added a rifle shoulder corrector so that it aligns with the crosshair like the other weapons.

If using this mod with Dynamic Weapon Profiles, you will have to create a new profile called exactly "3rdPersonRifles". Then the profile will be selectable with the correct reticle settings loaded. Alternatively, you can just select "handgun 5" but will have to customize the focus fields.

If using this mod with Advanced Weapon Framework

, you will have to select any of the non-rifle crosshairs, preferable Handgun 4/5 to get the crosshair to show.

In version 0. 981, I added a customizable shoulder corrector so the rifles finally align better with the crosshair. They should function more like the other weapons now in terms of alignment.

Solutions to Common Issues:

Black screen when loading the game

You must use the Steam version with Separate Ways DLC installed.

REFramework menu missing

Install the latest REFramework (your current version is outdated).

Character is bald/loses hair

You did not install REFramework.

Rifle still not appearing in third person

This is a mod conflict.

- Install Third Person Rifles last in your load order

- If other mods are pak mods, use the pak version of Third Person Rifles

- Exception: If using Classic RE4 Laser, install that after

Crosshair missing

You’re likely using Advanced Weapon Framework (AWF) or DWP.

-Set your crosshair to Handgun Type 4 in AWF/DWP setting and crosshair will appear
