MemeEnemies adds a lineup of absurd, meme-inspired foes to R. E. P. O., built using REPOLib. Each enemy brings unique behavior, audio, and chaos to your runs — from hypnotic dancers to charging engines of destruction.

- Ricardo – Stationary dancer who damages you while you look at him. Periodically turns his back, then spins around. Pulls your view toward him while caught.

- Thomas the Dank Engine – Roams, goes alert, and charges. Constant engine loop.

- Spongebob – Charge-lunge attacker that closes in and punches.

- Dora the Destroyer – Runs up and swings her log.

- Big Smoke – Tanky bruiser; runs up for a heavy melee hit.

Installation:

Use a mod manager (Gale / Thunderstore) or manually drop the plugin .dll and its asset bundle into BepInEx/plugins/. Launch once to generate the config.

Configuration:

Edit BepInEx/config/com.odinplus.memeenemies.cfg or use an in-game config manager.

- Per-enemy settings: enable toggle, health, size, attack damage, attack/aggro ranges, cooldowns.

- General settings: F9 Field Dump (debug), Apply Size Overrides, Audio Debug Logs (logs every sound trigger to the console).

Spawn rates are controlled by each enemy’s EnemySetup asset and REPO’s EnemyDirector. For live tuning, use SpawnConfig, which supports REPOLib custom enemies.

Each enemy uses a lightweight MemeSound system. Every sound slot (move loop, tell, attack, hurt, death) is a list of clips with a volume slider. A random clip is picked and played as-is — no pitch shifting. Add multiple clips for variety or leave a slot empty to silence it.

Multiplayer:

Enemies register through REPOLib and spawn in both singleplayer and multiplayer. All players must have the mod installed.
