Higher Mob Density

How the mod works

This mod is for lobby hosts.

This mod increases the maximum mob density by 2x and allows you to adjust it to whatever value you wish. This does not affect single-spawn enemies as it'd be too much work isolating them from the bosses/NPCs, thus you will see some rare spawns alone no matter what multiplier you set. I may look into this later.

You can adjust the multiplication by either editing the number in the config.txt file or by opening the console with F10 and typing "SetSpawnMulti X" without the quotes, where X is the number. For example, "SetSpawnMulti 10" would set the spawn multiplication by 10. Remember, higher values will have an exponentially greater impact on your performance. If you want horde mode, set it to ~20-25 and set "GuaranteeSpawns" at the top of main.lua to true.

You may need to reroll your world to apply changes. I am not certain if you actually have to but if it seems that the changes are not applying, reroll your world.

REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR SAVES BEFORE USING ANY MOD. This mod is unlikely to corrupt your save, HOWEVER, you never know what may happen. Always use any mod at your own risk and keep a backup of your saves.

Installation

First, install Narknon's Allow Asset Mods

To install, simply extract the zip folder contents inside Steam\steamapps\common\Remnant2 and launch the game as usual. Make sure you're extracting the "Remnant2" folder
