PlayStation Dualsense and Steam Deck Button Prompt Overrides

This is a simple mod that replaces the Xbox buttons in Ready or Not with buttons from the PlayStation 5 Dualsense controller. I created this for myself as I wanted a way to use my PlayStation controller/Steam Deck with Steam Input while also having the correct button prompts appear in-game.

There are a few options for you to choose from with this mod:

PS5 - Straight replacement across, replaces all Xbox buttons with the equivalent PS5 buttons.

PS5 Flipped - Same as PS5, except it swaps the bumpers with the triggers. Good for if you like to use L1/R1 to aim and shoot instead of L2/R2. (Make sure to actually swap these in Steam Input or whatever program you use to manage your controller binds, this mod only changes the prompts!)

Deck - Keeps most of the Xbox buttons, but changes the bumpers and triggers to use L1, R1, L2, and R2. It also switches the LS and RS prompts to use L3 and R3.

PS Deck - Same as Deck, except it also switches the Xbox A, B, X, and Y buttons with the PlayStation X, Circle, Square, and Triangle buttons respectively.

This also changes the buttons that you see under Control Scheme in the settings. The red lines that point the button to its location on the controller are unfortunately broken and point to the wrong locations, but you can still see the correct button next to the action text so you can still tell what does what.

To install:

1: Select the version of the mod you want to use from the Files tab and download it.

2: Head to the directory where you installed Ready or Not, and navigate to:

\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks\~mods\

(If you do not have a "~mods" folder in your "Paks" directory, create one)

3: Extract the Pak from the .zip file you downloaded into your "~mods" folder.

Now once you start the game you should see the button prompts in place of the old Xbox ones.

Note that, like all Ready or Not mods, you will need to go into your game options, click on the gameplay tab, and disable the "Server-Side Checksum" option if you want to host/matchmake into multiplayer games with this mod installed.

Also, don't have more than one of these installed at a time. They will conflict, only install one.
