📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Massive coverage—every weapon type gets new audio, not just a few.
  • Community-approved with 3,926 endorsements and over 233k downloads.
  • Regular updates—many weapons have been recently edited, showing active development.

⚠️ Cons

  • No compatibility notes—may conflict with other audio mods or require load order tweaks.
  • Future plans for NPC audio are not yet implemented, so don't expect that content yet.
  • Potential performance impact if you're sensitive to audio file sizes, though not specified.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Red Dead Redemption 2 players who want more realistic gunfire sounds and are tired of the vanilla audio. If you're a modder or audio enthusiast, this is a must-try. Skip if you prefer stylized or arcade-like sound effects—this is purely about realism.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're using other audio mods, place R.W.A.O. last in your load order to ensure its sounds take priority.
  • Test the mod in a gunfight or at a gunsmith to hear the differences—deadeye audio is best experienced during slow-motion kills.
  • Check the mod page for a video showcasing the new audio—it's a great way to preview before installing.
