📋 About This Mod
Due to rockstar completely breaking the nearby NPC counting method for this mod following the release of RDR 1 Remastered, this only works fully on pirated or otherwise downgraded versions of the game. rockstar no longer allows downgrading because money is more important to them than user freedom. I personally recommend DODI's 2024 repack from their official site (try different search engines if it doesn't come up). I've tested it and can confirm that all features are functional there. A VPN is recommended during the download to avoid issues with your ISP, Proton VPN offers free servers to use on both Linux and Windows. Scripthook is technically not intended for redistribution, but the link provided has all the relevant previous versions available. Version 1. 0. 1. 1491. 17 should work fine with DODI.
Note for Linux users using DODI (I'm now on Linux only) - Install the DODI repack via Lutris, then go into the game folder and install all redistributables from the folder labeled as such by replacing the launcher with the redist packages one by one. For the mods themselves, navigate to WineTricks in Lutris (located next to the "Play" button), use default prefix, install windows DLL or component, and select "dinput8.dll" from the list.
