📋 About This Mod
While in combat, enemy NPCs have a chance to use a tonic and heal themselves, like the player. Healing chance and amount are different depending on ped type (cowpoke, law, pinkerton), the tonic also gives them increased accuracy and fire rate (can be toggled off).
You can also choose whether they use it while out of cover or not, and many other options. Fully configurable via the ini file.
To install drag and drop both the .asi and the .ini files to your game directory
This script mod makes enemies use healing tonics during combat, adding a new layer of challenge. With 142 endorsements and over 6,700 downloads, it's a popular choice for players seeking tougher fights. Simple premise, potentially significant gameplay impact.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Makes fights more intense when enemies chug tonics mid-battle.
- Lightweight script mod that doesn't bloat your load order.
- Decent community backing with 142 endorsements.
⚠️ Cons
- Could make combat frustrating if enemies heal too often or too quickly.
- May conflict with other combat overhauls that alter enemy AI or item usage.
- No detailed description means you're flying blind on exact healing frequency and behavior.
This is for players who want a tougher, more dynamic combat experience where enemies don't just stand there and take hits. If you're tired of enemies being pushovers and want a bit more strategy in fights, this mod is for you. It's also great for those who enjoy tweaking difficulty without overhauling the whole game.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Pair this with a mod that adds more tonics to enemy loot to ensure they actually have healing items to use.
- If you find combat too hard, look for a config file or MCM menu to adjust healing frequency.
- Test in a low-stakes area first to see how often enemies heal before diving into major quests.
