Beta Knife Sheath Restored

Description

Taking inspiration from a few pics from the GDC presentation Rockstar made in 2021, this mod restores a fully functional knife sheath on the leg, keeping the design as accurate as possible from the original material available.

There are two versions to choose from:

• [] CI VERSION: Fully compatible with Catalogue improvements by default, only downside is that it only works with Arthur's first holster.[/]

  []TALISMAN: Works with pretty much every mod, but you're limited if you already use other talisman replacements.[/]

Main features

- High quality custom textures, properly compressed

- Comes with a script to reposition the knife into the new sheath, works with all knives

- New holster and unholster animations that fit this new sheath better

Installation instructions

- Extract  Betaknifesheath.zip and place the contents into your main rdr2 folder (the lml folder and asi file)

- Download and extract the compatibility patch that works with the mods you have installed and place the contents inside the the mod's main folder (where install.xml is) and replace the existent files (If you're using the talisman version omit this step)

- Installation of the talisman version is very simple, just drag both files in your root folder

- Make sure to give this mod priority over others in mod manager

KNOW ISSUES AND COMPATIBILITY

- The sheath

does not

work properly with the closed winter coat (CI - GI- TOR - RES version)

- Due to the position of the sheath and knife, expect clipping with long coats

- If you have any other mod that modifies shop_items.ymt, shop_items.ymt.pso, and weapons.ymt with higher priority, my mod will not work properly and issues with the wardrobe/guns are expected
