Western North Carolina Piggyback (TOFC) Service

In the early 1950s, the Pennsylvania Railroad revolutionized rail transportation forever with its TrucTrain service, carrying full trains of less than a car load truck trailers between major cities. Today, intermodal rail traffic makes up roughly 48% of freight traffic in the US, and is the primary mode of transporting consumer goods via rail.

If your trailers and car supports are not showing up, please look at the known issues section, this is a problem with Railloader version 1. 11. X. X and Strange Customs, the fix is the first bullet point in the Known Issues section of this post- fixed with V2. 0

Main Download:

The main download features 3 trailers used in the 1950s, scenery assets, and assets for securing the trailer to the railcar. The assets and loadID has been separated from other industries so other mod creators can use the assets without potential conflicts from other track mods, and users are able to choose which part of the Piggyback series they want to enjoy, without requiring any specific industry.

Bryson Industry:(Bryson)

Situated across the river from the Bryson passenger station and railroad headquarters, the Bryson wye is extended across and down the river for players to then reverse into the facility, which features a small yard, boxcar unloading track, and 3 piggyback loading/unloading tracks. At tier 5, this industry orders roughly 30 cars a day, providing a decent sized train for early game piggyback service. This mod DOES have a compatible version with a bunch of mods that are in the Bryson area, all migrations are automatically part of the download, a full list of official compatibilities is below.

Please note that those who run compatible mods, the piggyback tracks and scenery are slightly adjusted to avoid collisions with track for the other mods.
