Sim Workshop Controller

Drive your locomotive with a real HID joystick or train-sim cab controller (e.g. the TSC-X). Maps your physical levers, knobs, and buttons onto Railroader's throttle, brakes, reverser, horn, bell, headlights, and more — no extra drivers, no external apps.

Usage

• []Press F8 in-game to toggle the mapping overlay.[/]

  []Pick your controller from the Device dropdown.[/]

  []Wiggle each lever to identify which axis is X, Y, and Z.[/]

  []Bind axes to throttle / brakes / reverser via the dropdowns; tick Invert if a lever reads backwards.[/]

  []Press a button on the controller to find its index, then bind it from the Button Mapping column.[/]

  [](Optional) Set the Shift modifier to a button so axes switch to their shifted assignment when held or toggled.[/]

  []Click Save Profile. Mappings persist across game restarts.[/]
