Overview

Adds a concise, rulebook-style operations layer: unsafe handling incurs fines, safe play can earn bonuses, and a daily summary shows incidents and net financial impact.

• []Derailment fines — configurable per-car fines when vehicles derail.[/]

  []Stop-signal fines — fines for passing a CTC signal showing Stop (scans crossed track markers for the selected consist).[/]

  []Speeding fines — configurable speed limit, grace, and per-second fines for sustained overspeed events.[/]

  []Impact & coupling fines — fines for harsh coupling events and collisions involving the selected consist.[/]

  []Job performance adjustments — delivery bonuses/penalties applied to waybills when incidents occur (or don't).[/]

  []Strict mode — optional mode that disables grace rules and multiplies fines for a tougher experience.[/]

  []Daily report appendix — appends a "Realistic Fines & Bonuses" section to the daily report with incident counts and net impact.[/]

  []Daily safety bonus — configurable reward when no incidents occurred during the day.[/]

  Multiplayer

  All monetary changes are applied host-only (mod checks host state before altering economy), keeping multiplayer consistent.

  Configuration & Profiles

    []Per-save profiles: settings are isolated per save; a global fallback `config.json` is used when no save is active.[/]

    Install (UMM)

    • []Install Unity Mod Manager for Railroader.[/]

      []Create a mod folder, e.g. `Railroader\Mods\Gamea. RealisticFinesBonuses\`.[/]

      []Copy `info.json` and `bin/Release/RealisticFinesBonuses.dll` (plus `Newtonsoft. Json.dll` if needed) into that folder.[/]

      []Enable the mod in UMM and load a save.[/]
