Dynamic Weather

Quick update on my projects.

I’ve decided to pause or stop working on some of them. I ended up taking on more than I could manage, and my focus has shifted over time.

I’d rather be upfront than leave things hanging. What gets dropped will likely depend on things like bug count and overall working state.

Thanks to everyone who supported or showed interest—I really appreciate it.

This mod was chosen to be dropped bc MoW will contain weather more then my recent drop of mods.

Changes weather over time using in-game time. Use a fixed interval (every X in-game minutes) or enable Super Realistic Mode for random change times between min/max minutes, with optional weather persistence so conditions can hold longer between transitions.

Weather chances are season-aware (Winter / Spring / Summer / Autumn). You can tune season lengths, offset when the year starts, and southern-hemisphere ordering. Optional season and temperature readouts on the weather HUD; temperature can be shown in °F or °C.

    Snow

      []If it is missing, snow is disabled in settings and forecasts are sanitized so clients do not see snow they cannot render.[/]

      Weather traction (wheel slip)

      • []Optional EnableWheelSlip in settings: rain, snow, and storms use the game’s wet-rail adhesion curve for your locomotives while you drive manually.[/]

        []Auto Engineer and trains you do not own are unchanged (vanilla dry behavior).[/]
