CNJ A-1 0-4-0T (840)

This mod adds the CNJ A-1 class steam locomotive. The sole member of this class, CNJ #840, built by Baldwin in January of 1907, began its life working at the Bronx terminal used by the CNJ, until late in 1925, where steam was outlawed from all of New York city, forcing #840 to be moved. It wound up working in the Communipaw terminal in Jersey City for the rest of its useful life. In 1954, after 2 years of inactivity, CNJ #840 was sold for scrap.

The model presented to you now is the most accurate recreation online (trust me, I checked). For the price of 9200, with a tractive effort of 22k lbs, and an FOA of 5. 5, this locomotive will make itself home on your railroad as a good early game switcher. However, be weary of it's low water and coal capacity, of 2 tons of coal, and 1400 gallons of water. You may just end up stranded if you aren't careful!
