ALCo RSD-15 and MLW RSD-17

The ALCo RSD-15 / MLW RSD-17 were two different but very closely related series of road switchers built from their respective companies during 1956-60. These boasted a competitive 2,400 HP and 78,750lb's of tractive effort, which easily beat EMD's popular SD9 at the time. However through mid-production, EMD began production of the SD24 Which was a direct competitor for the RSD-15 utimately, outselling the RSD-15. The RSD-17 version is referenced off a singular production build as the MLW Demonstrator RSD-17 sold to Canadian Pacific. This was commonly nicknamed as the "Empress of Agincourt".
