This mod overhauls the skating and jumping mechanics from the base game, allowing users more flexibility and deception with their movement. It aims to allow players to regain speed when making sharp direction changes. The base game punishes users for having speed that does not match the direction they are currently facing. Jumping mechanic causes players to bob down and back up when landing from a jump, which feels clunky and annoying when trying to handle the puck. OVERHAUL: Modified jumping mechanic induces a smoother landing motion while still providing some up/down feedback and not feeling uncanny (like a roblox jump). Reduces forced braking during turns so you don’t scrub speed as hard when momentum and body are misaligned. Enable sharper turns without modifying the base turn speed, by allowing users to better conserve momentum into a new direction. Preserve velocity by transferring momentum toward your new direction instead of allowing skate friction to kill it. * Adds a small forward push aligned with your new direction, more noticeable when sprinting. (Like a firm push to start going a new direction).
